Cyber Security analytics is a combination of software, algorithms, and analytic processes used to detect potential threats to IT/Cyber systems. It is a proactive approach to cybersecurity.The need for security analytics technologies is growing with rapid advancements in malware and other cyber exploits.

Cyber Forensics is the application of computer investigation and analysis techniques in the interest of determining potential legal evidence. The purpose of computer forensics techniques is to search, preserve and analyze information on computer systems to find potential evidence for a trial. Many of the techniques detectives use in crime scene investigations have digital counterparts and these digital evidences can be used effectively in legal cases.
